About HMC MACHINING TECHNOLOGIES, INC
Howland Machine was founded by Bruce Dewey in 1984. The business began with a small facility in Howland, Ohio specializing in manual machining. The company continued to grow by adding more equipment to handle CNC, fabrication, finishing and assembly for its expanding customer base. As business continued to increase, the company expanded to serve many industries throughout the country and internationally. From OEM’s, to appliance, military, power generation, transportation, our capabilities are limitless. In 2001 Howland Machine decided to move to its new facility on Summit Avenue in Niles, Ohio incorporating 24,000 sq. feet to provide a more efficient manufacturing layout for its expanding equipment and business. In 2015, the owner and president, Bruce Dewey decided it was time for a name change to better describe Howland Machine. Under the new name “HMC Machining Technologies, Inc.” the company’s future growth in technologies is reflected. As we continue our expansion into the future we are better positioned as a company that utilizes current technologies to stay in step with the ever changing global demands. “We are the same company our customers have come to trust, but with a new name to take us into the future,” Bruce said.
